A communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday, March 14, during the 5:00 pm Vigil Mass and on Sunday, March 15, after the 9:45 am Mass.

Who can receive this sacrament?
Catholics, both children and adults, who are seriously ill, facing surgery, or experiencing the weakness that comes with aging should seek this sacrament. Those with serious, chronic mental or physical illness may also receive the anointing of the sick.
