In an effort to let others know about the work of the Spirit of God in empowering those on the margins across the diocese, the Office of Catholic Charities and Catholic Education Ministries announce the first annual Opening Heart Award. Two awards will be given, which focus on efforts that are social justice in nature in that they affirm the dignity of every person and lead to a more equitable society.
The award offers public recognition and a monetary gift of $500 to the parishes within the Diocese of Saint Cloud who have initiated award winning efforts. Nominees may be a parishioner, a parish, or program that have responded to those within the parish, local community or beyond in ways that foster the dignity of every person affirming them as valued and gifted members of the church and society.
The deadline for nominations is June 1. Forms are available in the parish office.

The March Minnesota Food Share Month was a success because of people like you. Your donation of $4,000 was greatly appreciated and will help us feed approximately 125 people each day at lunch and also go toward the approximately 20,000 pounds of food given out each month through our Food Shelf. Thank you for contributing to this event and any future contributions.
